Dr. Rory Cooper, PhD, of the Human Engineering Research Laboratories (HERL), the University of Pittsburgh, and the Department of Veterans Affairs asked me to pass the below information on to you in hopes that you would be kind enough to participate in HERL’s VOP survey or share this information with your network of professionals. My colleagues and I are conducting this VOP survey to gather input for research and development directions from assistive technology clinicians and professionals. I hope that you will take a few moments to share with us your knowledge by completing the survey at: <URL Redacted> You are being asked to take part in this study because you work to provide, maintain, or develop mobility related assistive technology (e.g. wheelchair, scooter, prosthesis, cane, walker, etc.). We highly value the input of professionals regularly exposed to assistive technologies. The VOP survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Survey results are confidential. HERL knows you are busy and really appreciates you investing a few moments of your time. <URL Redacted>

James M. Joseph
