Good day List,
Working with a young man who had a traumatic BKA & is left with a long residual limb with circumferential skin grafts from mid-tibia to ~ 4 superior to his patella. Surprisingly good knee ROM. Wondering... which is your gel liner of choice? May need to be custom because when seem last, the 'normal' tissues distally were significantly larger circumferentially than the decimated subQ proximally...post-op volume reduction is much slower- as if grafts are constrictive.
Leaning towards elevated vacuum suspn as that has worked extremely well for a past individuals with grafts (No where near as extensive, though). As always, your thoughts are greatly appreciated.
