Decision of excepting assignment or not. I was wondering if anyone on this list has chosen to not except assignment for Medicare and how that has impacted your business. The RAC audits been time consuming although we have been winning on most of our appeals. Now, Medicare is doing RAC audits on our custom diabetic shoes and insoles and now want not only prescribing doctors notes they also want notes from the certifying physician who follows their diabetes. Is not excepting assignment the way to go?
What are ur thoughts ?
