In the past there I have used a thick putty, probably silicone, that is
moldable but does not harden, to get impressions under load in a
socket. I cannot remember where I got it and need some, or something
like it. It was a very high durometer for putty, as difficult to mold
as plasticine clay. I'm trying to get an impression of the distal end
of a very bony atrophied KD. Something with a slightly lower durometer
would be better.

Any suggestions are welcome,
