Most responses were that it is available thru Fillauer or Cascade.
Others use play-doh or alginate. Otto Bock has an injectable silicone
called Impresil. Renew has a 5 minute set silicone that is injectable,
which I use often. One response was to use pottery clay, which can be
thickened or thinned to get just the right durometer, which I think I
will try.
My next question then is what is the best covering over stump socks so
the molding material doesn't ruin a sock? Plastic bags tend to tear
because of the tension between the limb and the socket. It needs to be
thin, slightly stretchy and tough, as well as mold well to the contours
of the limb.
