Hello Again,
I have received one response to my question regarding who the new
distributor is for the CrossOver Hybrid knee. This is the knee that Brian
Bartlett invented. FabTech used to be the distributor, but they apparently
stopped carrying it last week. When I google the knee, one of the search
results shows Cascade Orthopedic as a supplier, but when I called them, they
were unable to find a part number or any other information about the knee.
They ultimately concluded that it was not anything that they carry.
Anybody have recommendations for another knee for use in cycling? My patient
is hoping to be able to stand and climb as he rides. The CrossOver seemed
promising, but since it seems to have gone the way of the wind, I am
interested in hearing what you have been successful with for your
transfemoral amputees who wish to resume riding a bicycle.
Thank you!
