Hello All,
I am wondering what scanning programs people are using. I purchased a structure scanner for iPad last year and have been using it with 2 apps which were provided by my knee orthosis providers. Both of these apps are modified versions of a Techmed 3D Sizeme which lets you scan different body segments - knees, arms, torso etc.
At this time I have an emergency patient who requires a CTLSO and I have used the programs to scan her torso but I am unable to get her .stl file out of the programs so I can send that off to be carved. None of the tech support have been able to help me - the problem is that the apps are saying the .stl file is password protected meanwhile the tech support says it shouldn't be.
Soooo my question is - Does anyone know of a scanning app designed for anatomical scanning which will allow the individual .stl files to be sent out for carving? I already have a supplier to carve the positive.
Any advice would be much appreciated - I am unable to cast this patient the traditional way and need to get this positive done ASAP.
Thanks,
cheryl
