Good Morning- Looking for feedback on coding preparatory BK and AK setups. I have read the LCD but I am looking for input on what other practices are doing. What components are you providing a patient for a prep set up. What codes? When the patient is ready to move from a prep into a definitive set up, if I am understanding correctly, based on functional level, they can have a full new set up. Forgive my entry level questions, we have very clear cut policies in place for custom orthotics but the LCD for prosthetics seems so much more vague. I would like to understand what are the best practices we should attempt to follow. Thank you in advance for your time and input!
