Hello List

I have a pt that id developing a problem with what appears to be folliculitis. Pt has been an amputee for years and is an experienced user. This problem has reared its head a couple of times and usually seems to ebb and flow with changing seasons. The problem usually happens in the anterior portion of his residual limb. This time however the problem is attacking nearly all of his limb. Pt is in a Medi sensitive liner and has been for his last 2 sockets. I did find a bunch of responses to a list inquiry from 1999, I am wondering if there are any different remedies. That posting seemed to deal with popliteal folliculitis and up until this time my pt never had that particular problem. I have recommended the usual remedies. I recommended he see a dermatologist, I have recommended anti perspirants, is there anything that anyone has had good success with this problem? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks
