SAM HAMONTREE.... A true leader in the O&P profession. I learned many lessons from this man through out my 50+ years in O&P. He was always willing to interact with any of us who were willing to listen. He was always willing to share his enormous wealth of knowledge in practically every aspect of our profession. May he now rest in piece and may his family rest assured that we all will miss him and that we all thank him for his many years of service!

Most specifically, the vision he shared for a strong, state business association in California - COPA. Sam was one of COPA's founding (also known as - funding) members/leaders. The work he began on behalf of the business of O&P, to benefit patients was unrelenting and continues.
