Hello listers! Looking for innovative ideas for keeping patients off their
cell phones during appointments. The addiction crisis has now entered my
patient care rooms. Patients literally take calls while I'm in the middle of
conversation with them without a second thought! I do realize the simple and
easy solution here is to say Please reschedule for next week when you
aren't so busy and just leave the room. But I would be doing that with
many, many patients. Confrontational suggestions really wouldn't work for
me, so please do not respond with those. Leaving the room for an extended
time period as punishment doesn't work with my schedule. I'm looking for
nicer, softer solutions. Also wondering if there is any type of inexpensive
scrambler or cell blocker that anyone has used successfully?
