Dear List Members
I had a quick inquiry in relation to a presentation I am giving this Friday in Spokane, Washington USA around “International Trends for Prosthetic and Orthotic Technicians”. As part of that I want to give an overall international profile of how technicians in our profession become P&O Technicians (ISPO Cat III) - formal training, apprenticeship, on the job training, etc..
If anyone outside out of the group of you I have already had discussions with on this, is aware of P&O Technician/ISPO Category III training programs in the region you are in or nearby ones, I would like to hear about them in terms of their location, the institute they reside in an a brief description of the program. Even if there isn’t any formal training in your region, I would like to hear how P&O Technicians in your geographical region may otherwise be trained.
Any assistance anyone could offer me in relation to this would be greatly appreciated and will assist me in giving the group I am speaking to a more accurate picture of where things are at with regard to P&O Technicians globally.
Very best regards to all,
Dan Blocka,
