Hello Listserve

I had the sister of an Amputee in Jamaica come to see me at my office
here in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada because her brother (47 year old,
Right, Long Transfemoral/Possible KD) is in need of a new prosthesis.
She reports that his amputation was the result of a MVA ~7 years ago and
that this prosthesis was covered by his work at the time.  He no longer
has insurance of any kind and can't afford the price of a new prosthesis
(the cost he was quoted seemed pretty standard for this level of
amputation).

I am wondering if there are any organization in Jamaica that help with
funding.

Your help or suggestions with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
