Hi List,
The Donjoy Reaction KO is becoming popular, I'm curious how people are
handling coding. It's PDAC 1812, but there are hinges, so an argument could
be made for 1820 for a non-government payor. The 1812 only reimburses a few
dollars above the cost, and I'm curious how other people are handling
providing this KO which is basically a loss. Feedback about the Reaction
from patients has been very positive, which makes it a bummer that we lose
money with every one we provide.
It seems like the neoprene sleeve is really not an appropriate code, so do
we go to a 99 and cash pay?
Thanks,
Tyler Manee CPO, MSPO
