Dear List,

Hope everyone had a nice weekend! I've been working with a patient who has
a traumatic partial foot amputation. The foot is covered almost entirely
with grafted skin and there are several very sensitive areas. In the past,
he has been treated with a trilam insole of sorts with a piece of a BK gel
liner used as a top cover.

I would like to try something different this time and was looking at using
a pourable silicone elastomer (like what would be used for a custom distal
end pad) as a topcover instead but would be interested in other ideas. This
patient typically requires several adjustments to provide relief once the
device is fabricated, so it really needs to be an adjustable device in the
end.

Thank you for your time and thoughts!
